Hey there! I’m Eva, a 21 year old Dutchie from Utrecht area. Welcome to my portfolio! My passion for creating and creativity has led me to study Communication & Multimedia Design (CMD) at Avans University in ‘s Hertogenbosch. I am always working on bettering my skills and getting out of my comfort zone to learn and do new things. I wish to put the information and skills I have learned to use in a creative career and environment.

Internship at Buro KEET (2025/2026)

During the first semester of the 2025/2026 school year I got to take an internship at a local communications- and marketing bureau. Every CMD students who is doing an internship has to spend about 50% of their internship working on one big assignment. I was appointed by KEET to make a brandbook for the brand new company that they were setting up: Joyful-t. A t-shirt brand focused on bringing people joy. I developed this light, colourful branding with simple illustration details. The fun thing about this project is that KEET will use my brandbook as the groundwork for the real final branding.

Orc Dating Sim

Play Programming (2025)

This project is a little eccentric. For this assignment, I was required to use HTML, CSS and Javascript to make a project with a concept of our own choice. We had to code at least four different pages. I chose to make something a little odd: a really short demo for a dating simulator with an orc. Doing this project was highly enjoyable. All of the different steps and elements of this project were parts of CMD I liked and created a challenge within each of them. Now that I am still a student and still get certain freedoms within the projects I choose to make, I take those opportunities, and make things that I love. I like to sometimes take an unconventional route and in this case, it paid off.

MyFashion

Design for Screen (2023/2024)

This is one of my very first webdesign projects. The original design dates back to the end of 2023/start of 2024. I’ve freshened it up just a little bit and pulled the visual concept onto some extra assets to make this first image. Further down you can also find the first iteration of my design. The website is for MyFashion, a fictional initiative that focuses on sustainable and customizable clothes. Because of ‘vintage’ clothes, I obviously had to choose a retro inspired concept. The original design has many wireframes for phone, desktop and tablet. With this project being a little on the older side, there are some things I may have done differently today. Despite this, I like how colourful this design is.

Wings of Glamour

Beauty Salon by Esmee (2024)

This logo is my first paid gig. I developed this logo for Esmee Schwarze who started her own beauty salon back in 2024. You can check her out at @wings_of_glamour on Instagram. The logo has been through many iterations and a couple of name changes. For now this logo is the final version. The branding is still slowly in development. After the logo I’ve also designed giftcards and a pricelist. In the future, I will also be doing a webdesign and possible other assets for Wings of Glamour.

TEDx Delft

Contextual Concepting (2024)

For this project I created a visual concept for a fictional TEDx Delft event. After client- and visual research I started designing a creative and recognizable dynamic visual identity, inspired by the theme ‘Let’s Make’. This visual identity had to be expressed in two posters and a landing page. Additionally, I had to design at least two extra assets that would make sense in the environment and context of the event. I choose to make coffee cups and business cards.

Bookily

Mobile Development (2024/2025)

Bookily is a fictive book tracker app/website I made back in the end of 2024/the start of 2025. Originally, this was not a design assignment. It was actually a programming assignment about making our first Progressive Web App (PWA) and learning to use things like a manifest, service worker and device functions. I was inspired by other reading trackers and chose a unique layout, which was also a part of the assignment.

Techlab Webdesign

Project Webdesign / Advanced Webcoding (2023)

At Avans University of Applied sciences, the home base of our CMD, we as CMD-students have our own workplace in the basement. This workplace is called ‘Techlab’. For this assignment we had to design and code a website for Techlab. The goal of the design was to make future student enthusiastic about CMD. During another class during this semester we got some lessons on art history. One of the art movements they taught us about is Bauhaus, and I was inspired to make my website Bauhaus themed.

Shake it till you Breek it

Logo Design for Breekjaar Festival (2023)

Before I was a CMD student, I took a gap year to do special gap year program at Stichting Breekjaar. This year is all about personal development and stepping out of your comfort zone. At the end of the year it is accustomed to organize a festival with all of the groups. Me and 4 other Breekers submitted a logo design. Through democratic voting, my logo got 31% of the votes and therefor became the official logo for Shake it till you Breek it Festival 2023. This logo was used in all of the marketing, like crew t-shirts and banners. On top of this logo I also created a photo board. (Other designs, like the banner, the t-shirts and the posters are not made by me.)

Besides my more professional design work, I also love to make digital illustrations and sometimes animatics for my own enjoyment. I often think up my own characters or I like to draw fan-art of media that I enjoy or inspires me.
